Iain De Caestecker

Iain De Caestecker is a Scottish actor, best known for his role as Agent Leo Fitz in the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

De Caestecker was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He has a twin sister and is one of four children. The son of two doctors, his mother, Dr Linda de Caestecker, is Director of Public Health for the National Health Service Greater Glasgow and Clyde, the largest health board in Scotland. She has previously been an obstetrician and gynaecologist, working in different parts of the UK and in West Africa. She is also an honorary professor at the University of Glasgow.
